Lansing is a great place to start a business because there are 7 (yes, seven!) incubators to help launch your business, no matter the industry.
The Center for New Enterprise Opportunity (NEO Center) offers a place for entrepreneurs to flourish. The goal of the center is to create an environment where startups can not only build their business at a low cost, but also where creative ideas can be shared.
The NEO Center wants to give the community the chance to create their own financial freedom by creating relationships among entrepreneurs and offering vital resources.

Things you should know:
One of the unique things about NEO Center is our entrepreneur education program. We’ve developed a comprehensive, step-by-step process that helps new entrepreneurs become more successful. We’ve served 31 new companies and 28 of those companies are still in business today.
Additionally, our clients have hired a total of 50 employees (an average team growth of 2.5x) and generated nearly $3M in revenue (an average revenue growth of 4.5x). All in the last three years.
We also have a two-story slide…
We have up to 21 individual spaces. Most companies take up more than one of those spaces, so ideally our capacity is between 12-13 companies.
We currently have 10 companies.
Our ideal tenant is a new entrepreneur who has started a company within the last 18 months in the marketing/media technology field. We also accept clients in the general service industry. Generally speaking, if you do not make a physical product, we have a spot for you!
Our rates range from $100/mo for our coworking space to $1,000/mo for our most expensive private office. The majority of private offices are in the $300-$450/mo price range.
