The next few months at Startup Grind are focusing once again on some fabulous female founders.
Right here in Lansing we have some great women doing great things, and this month’s speaker is no exception.
Tiffany Dowling, founder of the full-service branding agency M3 Group, has worn many hats during her career. Before founding M3 Group 11 years ago, she spent three years as an appointee to Governor John Engler. She’s also held roles as:
- Marketing and Public Relations Director for Michigan Department of Career Development
- Public Information Officer to the Governor’s Office
- Marketing and Public Relations director for the nonprofit organization Starr Commonwealth
- Corporate Writer for Neogen Corporation
Her impressive resume has allowed her the opportunity to work in multiple industries and provide a multitude of services to the Lansing community. It’s also landed her multiple awards for everything from campaigns, marketing tactics, social media and public relations programs.
Today, Dowling not only owns and runs M3 Group, but also publishes two regional publications; Capital Area Women’s LifeStyle magazine and the Greater Lansing Business Monthly.
To hear more about Dowling’s career, hear her advice and learn more about what it takes to become a successful founder, come on out to Startup Grind on Thursday, August 2oth.
Next Month:
Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 17th to hear another Female Founder speak. Linda Hundt is the founder of Sweetie-Licious, winner of the SBTC’s Small Business of the Year in 2006.
